Marketing Consultant, Saved by AED, Teaches Others AED/CPR
This weekend was the anniversary of Katrysha being saved by an AED at the age of 30. Katrysha was eating lunch with her colleagues on October 16 when she suddenly fell onto the floor. She was fortunate that an AED was nearby. The AED delivered two shocks, restarting her heart.
Katrysha wants her story to inspire others to learn how to use AEDs. She is on a mission to help people to understand that cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. It happened to her when she was young and healthy; in her words, she's "living proof" of this.
Katrysha tells her story here.
